Lettera inviata da Berlino il 4 novembre 1890. Sarauw tarda a restituire i lavori a Gibelli, perché li ha voluti trascrivere almeno per metà e purtroppo ha parecchie difficoltà con l’italiano. Commenta poi alcune parti dei due lavori e cita opere a lui note sullo stesso argomento, facendo dettagliate osservazioni. Chiede infine alcune spiegazioni su termini in italiano usati da Gibelli.
